The Israelites Were Unruly And There Were Formations Of Idol Worship Among Them Which Resulted In Social And Political Upheaval Which God Allowed. God's Rebuke Can Be Applied To Christians Today Who Seem To Serve God On Their Right While Holding Wordly Entanglements On Their Left.

GOD IS TELLING US TO BE STILL
A. Idolatrous Worship, Not Limited To Graven Images, Is The Folly Of Man. For Christians With High Ambition, It Has Become A Fruitless Frustration. The Lord Is In His Temple, Silence Yourself Before Him-HAB 2:20
B. Next Is Self-righteousness. When We Come To Visit The Lord, We Never Ask Things From Him. Our Lofty Looks Will Be Humbled Along With Our Haughtiness. Our Pride Has Made Us Reject God's Word. He Alone Shall Be Exalted-IS 2:11

GOD IS TEACHING US TO BE THRILLED
A. Grandeur And Power, Majesty, Splendor And Glory Is To The Lord. For All Heaven Is His And He Is Exalted Over All-1 CHRON 29:11
B. Be Exalted Above The Heavens O God; Above All The Earth Be Your Glory-PS 57:5. Show Our Joyful Trust In God And Speak Our Confident Prayer To Him.

Empty Idols Are Of No Use. Show Our Faith Fully To God Alone And Make Him Our Strength In The Day Of Distress. He Will Give Us Knowledge And Leave Us In No Doubt Of His Power. We Will Know That He Is The True Lord And God-JER 16:19-21. AMEN,
